Camera Shy

It's normal to feel a little shy in front of the camera. Typically you have 3 cameras in your face all day with photos and video, and that for some can be a little overwhelming.

But you could take a little advice from Angie...

Angie was very animated, excited, and expressive for her photos. She seemed very comfortable in front of the camera. I asked her how she got so good at having her photo taken. She explained she's actually very shy, but she figures it's her one day to have great photos so she really played it up. This is wonderful advice. You almost have to be an actress for photos. Anything you do can be dramatized and it looks awesome in a photo. Smile with your mouth open sometimes, be extra fun, put your hand up in the air, express emotion with your eyes.
(On normal days, don't do this. You'll likely lose friends and people will think you have turret's syndrome.) But on special days when a camera is involved - bring it. Don't be afraid either! The camera loves sassy.

Thanks Angie for being such a great example for how to work with the camera! You worked it out woman!
