The places we go...

Everything looks so nice in the summer! Wildflowers, sunshine, picnics, porch swings, a glistening lake with a weeping willow gently moving in the warm summer breeze, alleys with a dirty mattress, dive bombing pigeons, a leaky air conditioner, random garbage, and inappropriate graffiti...
That's right folks - nothing turns my gears like an alley with great light, maybe some overgrown weeds, and some good 'ol defacing of public property.
You ask yourself - why does a good semaritan like sucha nasty spot? I'll let Kayla show you...

Now you see why I (and the bum who left his trash there) heart this spot. It is the spots that we look past that sometimes deserve a better look. It can be a nappy brick wall (Christine & Jeff... you know it's killing me not to show yours yet!), an abandoned barn, a stairway that smells like Mexican Food (see below), or even - and I kid you not - The Poultry Building. It's tough to beat these little bits of heaven where you least expect them!

So while I don't recommend wandering into alleys and dead end roads that lead to strange spots all alone, I do recommend taking a second look at your surroundings. There could be that perfect spot in your own backyard!

But for now... just admire Kayla and her senior photos.

Disclaimer - no person, pigeon, or property was harmed during the process of this photo shoot. For parents wondering about the safety of their child during their senior session, please know that we were extremely safe as we were guarded under the watchful eye of this man...

Those are AMAZING - and unique, one of a kind! Wait til other seniors and their parents see these! Wow! Kayla is a beautiful girl and you sure know how to pick out the perfect background to reflect one's photos!

I think I might know the man in the last photo. He looks familiar! Too too funny! Of course, you did tell me that you and Roger had a great/fun time doing these!

Great job! Keep up the good work!
