Kelly & Brandon
Kelly and Brandon are good friends of ours. (You may recognize Kelly as one of our assistants.)
When Brandon told us that he asked Kelly to marry him I immediately asked when the date was - and much to my dismay, we were already booked. Luckily, we were still able to photograph their engagement pics and hopefully we'll make it before the end of their reception. And we'll be guests, so maybe I can even get my groove on on the dance floor. (Although I shake it like a white girl, I really enjoy a little dancing now and then. You'll often see me yearning to dance at receptions while I am working. It's my idea of torture to not be able to participate!)
You gotta LOVE anyone willing to get in a fountain for a great shot!

Jackie & Marcus
Jackie and Marcus's session began when the wind started to really get with it. They are from Carlinville like us, so I felt bad that they'd looked forward to this St.Louis photo shoot and the wind was not cooperative. But, we got on some lower ground and found places that were less windy. And thank goodness we didn't give up because their pics turned out wonderfully.

Told ya it was windy. Don't you think it looks very front of the boat Titanic-ish though?

Emily & Chad
You just have to love these two. They make me feel old because they are just so youthful and adorably cute. I loved Emily's yellow dress and how colorful their clothing was, and their photos turned out super.

Stepahine & Johnathon(aka Bub)
I met Stephanie when she was the Maid of Honor in one of my cherished couples - Danielle and Chris Janek's wedding. She is so sweet and beautiful, and I was so happy that after getting engaged she called us. And I was even more excited when she informed us that she decided to have the ceremony at the Lodge of the Four Seasons at Lake of the Ozarks and she wanted to pay for us to go with them. (For anyone who doesn't know - we are always willing to do destination weddings no matter where they are!) We are very excited to spend the weekend with these two and their families in the Ozarks. I expect that their wedding photos will be amazing! Their epics are pretty stellar as well!

For those interested - we will be having 2 more marathon engagement session days at Forest Park. The days set up are July 13th and October 5th. October 5th is already filling up fast, so contact soon for that date!
