Wonderful Wedding

I've blogged about the Blue Box series from this wedding, but haven't had the chance to talk about Michael & Pamela.
Where do I start? Pamela booked us last year over the phone. Based on our website and a phone converstation, she put her trust in us. Pamela and I hit it off immediately, and I knew she would be one of those brides that I would be sad to see go. Then, on a blazing hot day in October... I met Michael. I must tell you that Pamela and Michael are insanely in love. And it isn't one of those - gross you out because it's over the top mushy - loves. It's just honest and so very apparent. So it sealed the deal after meeting Michael that now I'd be sad to see them both go. They are both so down to earth, so easy to be around, so funny and sarcastic (which I LOVE) and did I mention - so in love? So, up until a week and a half ago, Pamela and I would chat weekly. I knew Pamela's wedding was going to be one I'd hold dear to my heart, but I didn't know how much...

I just have to say that as a photographer and videographer - we love to have animated and emotional brides, and Pamela is it when it comes to this.

When we left her mom's house I said to our assistants and Roger - "That is why I love my job!" and they all agreed. It's easy to get caught up in the day and be nervous, but lets face it - being a bride is AWESOME! Celebrate it!

I can't not talk about Michael. He is just so darn like-able. Just look at him.

This church had some cool aspects that gave it alot of character.

Apparently everyone that attended this wedding was Catholic, because communion was LONG!

SO long, that the priest was busy so I snuck up on the altar and got some of my favorite pics of the day.

Pamela is showing Michael how her ring looks on her hand - it was such a sweet moment.

It was cold and windy - but they never let it show.

I heart Pamela's shoes.

But not as much as these shoes!
Michael gave Pamela these as a gift and she LOVED them. Her reaction reminded Roger of me when I get something I am crazy about that noone understands the excitement but me.

Which shoe shot do you like better?

I love umbrella shots. I think when mother nature gives you rain you should make the best out of it!

BIRDS!!! - Michael and Pamela find them sort of scarry. We talked about the birds several times that night...

Finally - my favorite shot of the two lovebirds(ha! Get it...loveBIRDS!)
This shot sums the two up perfectly.

So now I'll do what I always do when my brides and grooms move on and don't need me anymore... pray for babies.
Smooches to you both!

I enjoyed reading all of this, start to finish. This is just another reason why I feel we are LUCKY to have you do my daughter's wedding in 2009. Keep up the great work!
